Burnley earned it’s fifth win in a row with a comfortable win against a struggling Crystal Palace. Palace have not won away this season, earning a mere point from their 6 travels away from home. This has been their longest trip from Selhurst to date and it showed. They were lethargic and hopeless, almost unsure of their surrounding. It was Burnley’s Coates who was buzzing, stretching the Palace defence this way and that, causing havoc and confusing.  He was at the end of a lovely move on the left side after 16 minutes hitting a 20 yard rocket into Jackson’s net.

Early in the second half Dobson is powering forward.

Early in the second half Coates started a move that ended with Casper’s flamboyant dribble and shot that virtually ended the game. Palace scored a late consolation goal that meant nothing. Burnley are turning Turf Moor into a fortress of repute, with a fifth win in a row.
