Chelsea 1 (Birchenall 23)
Arsenal 1 (George 10)
There was more action on the terraces, as the bovver boys of each club celebrated living in a free western capitalist society by sharing raucous language and threats, than anything that was seen on the pitch. Though the game did start sprightly. The young Charlie George, who has great potential, though lousy long drab hair, scored early with a clinical finish outside the box. A dozen minutes later, after a nice passage of play, Birchenall equalised for Chelsea. Then…nothing much else happened. So the young lads had to make their own fun on the terraces.
You can go away now.
