Arsenal 2 ( Graham 20, George 74)
Arsenal have finally produced a competent performance, after 5 consecutive losses, to beat North London rivals Tottenham. The scoreline doesn’t depict the resilient performance that Arsenal produced. Once Graham produced a sublime volley from a corner, Spurs attacked them with ferocious endevour. But Arsenal held on, by hook or crook, they stopped Tottenham scoring at all costs.
This continued in the second half, with young Arsenal keeper Webster playing the game of his life. They held Spurs at bay until George went on a sizzling dribble only to slice his shot. As luck would have it, the ball ended up in the corner of the net. That deflated Spurs and they offered no resistance after that. Now Arsenal need to continue this resilient football to starting gaining some points.
