Forest Plays Well and Beats Southampton

September 13 1969

Division One

Nottingham Forest      2  ( Moore 19, 71)

Southampton                1 ( Paine 33)

In a jolly good afternoon the Forest fans were rewarded by a win and  a strong performance from their team. Moore was the player hailed as he efficiently put away his two serious chances. Southampton, though,  weren’t far behind and almost stole a point with their last shot of the day , unfortunately hitting the post and missing out on any reward.
